Subject: [Northside CPOP] Follow-up from 2/15/07 CPOP Meeting

Everyone -

Last night while I was over at D5 on NS-COP business, Lt. Fern updated me on
a couple of items he had said he'd check on for us:

*	Concentrated Code Enforcement:  He had no information to indicate
that Northside was going to be getting CCE in the near future.  He
encouraged us to let city officials know, in no uncertain terms, that we
want to have this program in Northside.  His opinion was that this should
come from throughout the community, not just from CPOP.  As he said, "The
squeaky wheel gets the grease."
*	Media support for ROE stickers:  CPD does not want media support for
rollout of the stickers due to the potential for retaliation.

Our conversation was very brief, so I have no further details.  I'm sure Lt.
Fern would share additional info if needed.
