[Art] call for artists

The *Galleries Together* is currently seeking artist to participate in our
holiday celebration.
Newport's Holiday Stroll will take place on November 14, 2008, 6-9pm.  The
event features dinner by the bite and beverages provided by local galleries
and gift shops.We had a lovely time last year and expect this year's event
to be just as wonderful!

Please consider selling your art at the *Galleries Together*.  We offer a
beautiful space in which you can display your work and charge only 30%
commission.  We do also expect that you will make time to come to the event,
since our customers enjoy meeting and speaking to  artists.

We are especially in need of wall art, but may be open to other
possibilities as well.  Please keep in mind that our price point is around
$100-$150 so pick pieces that you would price accordingly. If you plan to
have your work in other shows, we hope that you will select a few  pieces
that can stay in the gallery until the end of December.
